Do I Want to Use a Hitch Ball With my Tow Bar?
If you already have a hitch ball mounted on your vehicle, you can use a tow bar that has a coupler on the end to hook up with that hitch ball. the StowMaster All Terrain Tow Bar, the StowMaster Tow Bar and the Tracker Tow Bar are all designed with couplers on the end.
The other types of connections are receiver and pintle hook. The Sterling, Blackhawk 2, Falcon All Terrain, and the Falcon 2 tow bars all mount to the motorhome instead of the towed vehicle. The connection at the towed vehicle is through the receiver mount on the vehicle.
The StowMaster Tow Bar comes in a pintle hook mount model for special situations.
